How should mobility be in 2050? In this video, we answer how our vision of mobility is for another challenge of Shell Eco-Marathon 2021.
Pounding techno music to an industrial drumbeat
An aerial sun rise shot of Christ the Redeemer statue on the Corcovado mountain over-looking Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Three thin wavy animated lines appear across the screen, dark green, light green and white.
What should mobility look like in your future?
A harbour scene in Rio de Janeiro, the misty mountains in the background with an animated elevated railway bridge and train in the foreground, followed by a shot of a river with an animated boat, quickly followed by an inner city street, with animated bus heading straight towards the camera.
We believe that public transportation will have a significant expansion in the next years.
Screen becomes shades of green, and the three wavy lines re-appear at the top of the screen. Below and in the centre, the front of the bus, either side of the bus a hydrogen gas tank on the left and a large electric battery on the right.
Introducing a new hybrid vehicle concept, with batteries that can be charged by hydrogen cells as renewable electric energy.
The screen changes to show a small white boat top left, a small white electric car top right, the white train from the harbour bottom left and the front of the bus bottom right, a flashing wifi logo appears in the middle signifying that they are connected. We cut to a scene in a remote forest, the bus appears on the left, the wifi icon in the middle and an animation of a person in a wheelchair with a mobile phone on the right, indicating that she’s contacted the bus and it’s arrived to collect her.
These vehicles will also have IoT sensors to control all the systems and they will be accessible for everyone.
A shot from a forest, looking over the harbour and hills of Rio de Janeiro, the camera rises up showing more of this dramatic scene at sun rise.
Vehicles that adapt to your necessities and the world necessities, that’s e-Wolf’s future
Over the scene of Rio de Janerio at sunrise, a circular icon appears, featuring a howling wolf in the middle over a black and white checkerred flag, the logo of the e-Wolf Racing team.
