In this Bonus Challenge, Shell Eco-marathon teams were asked to create a 30-second ad answering this big question: What should mobility look like in your future?
Eco-Runner Team Delft based their idea around a highly efficient hydrogen-powered car that would make city mobility more sustainable by 2050.

An upbeat song, lead by a gentle piano, to the beat of finger clicks
It’s a sunny day, blue sky covered by the green of tree-tops, the camera moves down to show vehicles in a car park
In our growing cities we are looking for cleaner mobility solutions, but with the streets filled with large unused parked cars, there is no space left.
Inside a workshop, looking down onto the grey flooring, someone walks towards an unusual shaped vehicle, with a yellow roof, and green sides, its shape looks similar to a rain drop. The person gets into the small vehicle, and takes it for a drive. A woman walking her dog, stops and admires the car as it passes on a dutch street.
Eco-Runner brings the solution, with Eco-Runner car swapping services.
The unusual car crosses a city bridge and stops by an old brick building. The driver gets out, and another driver appears, he gets into the car by lifting its butterfly style wing door, and drives off, past some bright yellow daffodils
With one click in our app, travellers can start the highly efficient hydrogen powered city car. When you are finished it is ready for the next person and their zero-emission journey. Hereby, mobility in our beautiful cities will be extremely accessible, cheap and fully sustainable
