Accessibility Transcript: Road to 2050 - Eco IME Racing

Duration: 30seconds

Video Description:

Nowadays, the main source of energy for automobiles is derived from petroleum. However, its combustion causes several negative impacts on the environment that need to be mitigated. Thus, we will propose alternatives for the future of mobility so that we enable sustainable development.

[BACKGROUND NOISE]

Faint piano music

[ANIMATED SEQUENCE]

A city scene in the style of Minecraft, made up of mostly square shapes, a red car is driving down a road passing city homes, then it drives in a hole

 [VOICE OVER]

Nowadays, urban mobility is based on combustion engines, which makes society dependent on non-renewable sources. But how can new technologies improve this?

[ANIMATED SEQUENCE]

As the camera zooms out we see a number of strange shaped trees fitting with the graphic design of the animation, and blue car appears from the hole where the red car disappeared.

 [VOICE OVER]

Electric cars are already widely used in developed countries, with the advancement of autonomous direction, traffic can become safer.

[ANIMATED SEQUENCE]

The blue car drives over a river on a bridge, then under a railway bridge, entering another hole in the road next to a solar power station

[VOICE OVER]

Means of transportation based on electric motors and low friction technologies already exist and maybe the future of a more sustainable mobility.

[ANIMATED SEQUENCE]

Two drones fly out from the solar power station and disappear, as the camera turns to the right, we see a hill covered in the strangely shaped trees, the tops of futuristic skyscrapes in the background and a spherical building made out of triangular glass – infront of this building, is a railway bridge between two tunnels, and a train speeds past

[VOICE OVER]

Magnetic levitation trains are faster and more efficient. Those alternatives are less experience to us and the environment.

[ANIMATED SEQUENCE]

The camera zooms into the hillside where there is a graphic symbol, a cog with an electric bolt in the middle. The screen goes back, and the cog becomes purple, the electric bolt yellow.

[VOICE OVER]

The future is our present!
